Complementary Therapist Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers with a qualification in Reflexology, Massage, Reiki or Yoga Nidra to join our expanding Complementary Therapy Team and provide therapies to patients and their families.

A regular commitment is required, and we are particularly looking for Tuesday afternoons at our Wellbeing Support Sessions, and flexible hours on the ward area of our hospice.

Therapists must be able to adapt therapies to meet individual’s needs, have a caring and professional approach and a good understanding of confidentiality and record keeping.

You will have an ITEC diploma or equivalent, be registered with a professional association and hold appropriate insurance. A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience is preferred but less will be considered.
